Trim Levels of the 2024 Genesis Electrified G80
1. Advanced
Even as the base trim, the Electrified G80 Advanced is an impressive vehicle. Its head-turning exterior features sleek lines, a signature G-Matrix crest grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, power-folding side mirrors with puddle lamps, and two-line LED headlamps.
The spacious interior feels ultra-luxurious, with leather upholstery, matte-finish wood trim, and a leatherette-wrapped instrument panel. Genesis takes driver comfort seriously, equipping the Advanced with a heated tilt and telescopic steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats. Both seats are power-adjustable, and the driver seat features a power cushion extension and bolster.
Dual Motors
Powering the Electrified G80 are two 136 kW motors, generating a combined 365 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque for quick acceleration and athletic performance. The 87.2 kWh battery sitting beneath the floor is capable of an estimated 282 miles on a full charge, enough for a round trip from Baton Rouge to Jackson, MS. The Advanced also has an electronically controlled suspension, ensuring a smooth ride on all road surfaces.
Technology
Important information is displayed to the driver via an eight-inch digital cluster and analog gauges. A 14.5-inch touchscreen, which is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, acts as the entertainment and navigation hub, while the Lexicon premium audio system pumps out the soundtrack to every journey.
Genesis has also equipped the Advanced with a good range of driver-assist and safety features, including smart cruise control, forward collision assist, lane keeping, cross-traffic avoidance, and a rearview camera.
2. Prestige
The top-of-the-range Prestige takes the Advanced and makes it even better. An interior makeover includes an upgrade to Nappa leather seats, a microfiber suede headliner, and three-zone climate control for the comfort of all occupants, and the instrument cluster is switched out for a larger 12.3-inch 3D display.
Genesis also gives the Prestige additional advanced tech features, such as a 360-degree surround view monitor, rear parking collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, and remote parking assist.
